Add a touch of dramatic, sculptural glamour to your desk or library shelves with this pre-owned pair of Vintage 1980s Hollywood Regency Panther & Green Marble Bookends.
A classic representation of the opulent Hollywood Regency aesthetic, these bookends feature a pair of sleek, prowling panthers. Crafted in solid, high-polish lacquered brass, the panthers are depicted in a dynamic, mirror-image pose with their tails arched high. The detailed casting includes a flowing "drapery" texture where the figures rest upon the solid block bases of dark green marble. The marble showcases beautiful, natural white veining and has a distinctive modern slanted edge. Imported by Decorative Crafts, Inc. and made in Taiwan, this pair is as functional as it is decorative, with the heavy marble and brass providing stability for your book collection.
