Named in homage to French photographer and painter Dora Maar—famous as Pablo Picasso’s lover and artistic muse—the oversized vase features a repeating relief of stylized facial profiles. Adler hand-sculpts the original prototype in his Soho studio before casting it in high-fired, unglazed matte white porcelain. This unglazed exterior amplifies the sharp shadows and curves of the surrealist silhouettes, while the interior is fully glazed to remain watertight for fresh floral or branch arrangements. Standing at 14 inches tall, it functions as a substantial, standalone sculptural anchor for modern tables and hearths.
